“Local” term has different geographical boundary at different slabs:
In international norm, ” Local” mean- Indians/Pakistanis/Iranians/Americans/etc.
In National norm- ” Local” means- Sikkimese/Assamese/Bangalees/etc
In State norms- ” Local” means- North Sikkim wala, South Sikkim wala, East Sikkim Wala
In District Norm- “Local” means- Ravanglawala/Gangtokwala/Namchiwala
In Town Norm- ” Local” means-
MG Road wala/ Tibet Road wala/Development Wala
In Road Norm- “Local” means-
Thishouse wala, That housewala,
In House norm-” Local”means:
Daju wala/Bhaiwala/
Finally “Local” means- MERA/ TERA/ my son/your son/my wife/your wife/ my room/your room and so on.
So the battle for the word “LOCAL” continues…
