GANGTOK, June 9: Sikkim Subject Certificate or Certificate of Identification issued on the basis of genuine Sikkim Subject Certificate carrying Serial Number and Volume Number is a must to qualify for acquiring Pink Card.
This was clarified today during a meeting held in the District Administrative Centre where Mayor of Gangtok Municipal Corporation and representatives of Urban Local Bodies from East District were present. DC East, both the ADCs and SDMs from the DAC also attended the meeting.
The meeting discussed the issue of Pink Cards to genuine Sikkim Subject holders and their legal and direct descendants.
It was also informed that all general public were required to contact their respective Councillors for obtaining forms and completing formalities for issuing Pink Cards to them, adds a press release issued by additional secretary, land revenue and disaster management department TN Dhakal.
